David Hurtado

(b. 1997, Utah, USA) is a multi-national artist based in London. The son of Mexican and Colombian parents, his work examines how migration, landscape, and architecture intersect to produce built and imagined environments.  Trained as an architect at Yale and the University of Cambridge, Hurtado’s practice is critical in approach and engages the disciplinary languages of architecture and film.

His films have been exhibited at La Biennale di Venezia, The Heong Gallery, and The British School at Rome. His writing has appeared in The Cambridge Review of Books and The Avery Review.
